When will I receive my payment?
When and how you receive your payments depends upon the type of engagement:
💥For school engagements, you’ll submit one session report for all of your sessions with each student/group each week, which is due by Saturday night. Payment for those sessions will then be processed on Sunday, and arrive into your bank account on the following Friday by 8pm. With your first payment, you’ll receive an email from Intuit (Melio) asking you to enter your banking details.
💥For private tutoring engagements, you’ll create a Stripe account upon sign-up. As soon as you click “submit” on your session report after each lesson, parents will instantly be charged for the session and you’ll receive the payment into your Stripe account. The funds will then be automatically transfered from your Stripe account into your bank account in two business days.
A helpful reminder:
If you have not clicked the "Submit Report" button, you have not submitted your session report. An easy way to ensure you've submitted all of your session report(s) is to check your "Calendar" tab. If you see a red clock on any of your past sessions, it means the report is past due. In most cases, if you submit the report, your payment will still be processed as described above. However, for reports that are very late, there is a possibility that payment can no longer be processed. We therefore strongly suggest that you submit all of your outstanding session reports at the end of each week!
